Ultimately, I see that it is the person behind the computer doing the art with the assistance of the computer, as that is merely the medium to create such a piece. I think the computer can be called the "artist" if it is creating the artwork without any sort of help from a person. I think that it is a fair thing to say, right now we use AI to help us fix something on photoshop, illustrator, or even in videos based on a prompt we give. It is even capable to do what you want as the result, like the art that you do with AI. With our human help, it can do what we need, so with that, I do. not believe the computer can be known as the artist until it is the one creating the piece all by itself with no help and no direction.
